You have somehow secretly invented a revolutionary new computer and now have access to a totally unprecedented amount of processing power, dwarfing any other machine on the planet. Think in the order of a zettaFLOPS. For simplicity let's say it can run software made for any architecture.

The question is: What do you do with it?

Hard mode: No simply selling or renting it.

Extra hard mode: Not even any collaboration with anyone else, anything you run on the machine must be 100% handled and set up by yourself.

I don't have the knowledge to create something revolutionary with that much power.

>anything you run on the machine must be 100% handled and set up by yourself.
This means no bitcoin meaning since it was not my creation.

If bitcoin mining is allowed, then you're allowing a loophole where companies can pay me x amount of money to mine data for them. I'm not typically 'renting', but they're still 100% using my power.

Hard question.

Probably set up a system that is capable of reducing a compiled game back to its source code for preservation, easy mode is Bitcoins. Probably would use it to crack encryption and tripcodes.

Afterwards I would create an AI entity which could protect itself and interact with random people across all hardware.

Could be tough to HFT if you're not physically close enough to the market. Most of those computers are just servers but have a fiber optic connection straight to the markets. But you could still crush algo trading if you had a good plan.

Does it have a really fucking high clock speed or is it just massively parallel?

Like we could make chemical computers where we put some magical chemicals in solution to compute things MASSIVELY IN PARALLEL. As in mole numbers of operations happening, but operating at however fast those chemicals diffuse.

I would use said computer for quantum chemistry and molecular dynamics. This would be for finding new drugs, new materials, and eventually a way to carry out diamonoid mechnosynthesis. Diamonoid mechanosynthesis makes all sorts of crazy nanotech possible.

Create a program/AI that crawls 4chan and analyzes various posts and then cross-references them with other posts and threads they are in (along with whatever image is posted).

The goal is to find out what kind of posts garner the most responses in what kind of context with the purpose of creating the ultimate (you) bait post / ultimate meme post.

Leave it running for 8 years (Trump's presidency). After 8 years unleash the Ultimate Meme on the internet.
