Depends what country you're in, here 1060s are quite cheaper for some reason. About a $40 difference in USD.

Some RX480's are faster than 1060's.

Depending on how often you upgrade, I'd recommend getting an 8gb 480 if you can.

I recently got an RX480 for my first real computer build and its running everything great so far. DOOM 2016, Witcher 3, Alien: Isolation, all run 60+ maxed out no problems at 1440p (except a few hiccups every now and then on the witcher)

My 980ti overclock struggles to do this without artifacting. I have to turn down foliage distance. No way you're running anything other than the high preset and then still running a low-mid 50s fps average
