What torrenting program are the cool kids using these days?
Oh, and:
>cool
>linux
Pick 1
>>58744984
Same one we've been using since 2011. uTorrent 2.2.1
>>58745004
This
If you're an actual cool kid on Linux, rTorrent + GUI of your choice.
If you're on Windows, qBitTorrent.
qBittorrent
I do most of my torrenting on Mobile now (all music), so I use Flud which is 10/10 imo
Bittorrent on PC, haven't really used anything else since I ditched limewire and frostwire ages ago.
>>58744984
deluge
if you want your linux distro, go with elementry, manjaro, and peppermint.
What site do you guys use?
>>58745130
and this
>>58746664
>sites
Nigger there's a fucking search engine in qbit.
Torrents are still slow, DDL is the way to go.
>>58746672
use windirstat or spacesniffer to get a visualization of what's eating up your shit
>>58746664
Hey Mr FBI
I use torrentzeu.to as a meta engine but I try to stick with pirate Bay now that kat is dead. 1337x.to was a godsend during a brief period where my ISP blocked the other two but I'm not certain it's good under any other circumstances.
>>58744984
Transmission.
It runs on my router and downloads all the things to a USB HDD, so I don't have to think about it at all.
rtorrent+rutorrent if ur 1337
Deluge if ur not
>>58744984
Transmission or Deluge.
Tixati, on both wincucked and GNU/Linux
Transmission is the only right choice.
rtorrent + rutorrent
also:
>torrent
>windows
enjoy being v&
Tixati
Halite on windows and deluge on linux.
>>58748555
>>58748077
>>>/mlp/
Deluge on Windows 10
Set it up with the PIA proxy, works fucking great.
>>58744984
I USE QBITTORRENT NO PROBLEMS AT ALL GOOD INTERFACE EVERYTHING IS PERFECT
uTorrent 2.2.1 is still the best answer.
Cna anyone give any compelling reason to use anything else? 2.2.1 has all the functionality you could need in a torrent client with zero bloat. What the fuck are you using anything else for?
>>58746624
Flud was very slow for me so I use ttorrent.
Even paid for it but developer removed that version and is asking monies again so now I'm on ad powered version.
>>58749014
Sorry to hear that senpai but I never had any trouble with it
>>58748690
>Halite
What makes it so special to use it? Never really came along with that program, some features are missing imo
>>58744984
Transmision or rtorrent.
Transmission is more convinient but rtorrent is even lower on resources.
>>58744984
I use shareaza because it's has all the networks, If you can't find what your looking for on shareaza it probably doesn't exist.
>>58748944
disk overload prob
not being 64bits
i use 2.2.1 btw theres nothing better unfortunately
>>58750044
I wonder if µTorrent will ever do the jump to 64bits. I mean, they had it once in the 3.0's alpha/beta, but that was the first version everything went shit.
>>58746672
>Torrents are still slow, DDL is the way to go.
nice meme unless you pay, in which case torrents still have a lot more shit you won't find on DDL sites.
>>58744984
Tixati
utorrent 1.8.5
>>58750044
except deluge is superior
>>58748077
>>58748555
Try suicide
If you use µTorrent then you're completely fucktarded and should sell your computer. µTorrent is the Theon Greyjoy of P2P.
qBittorrent is the way forward
I really wonder why µTorrent is still so popular and is getting shilled everywhere I look. In my opinion: it's shit.
Go for something better, you have a lot of choices that do not involve selling out to proprietary software.
Again: THERE IS NO REASON OR EXCUSE TO USE A PROPRIETARY BITTORRENT CLIENT EVER.
The choices are:
rTorrent
QBittorent
Transmission
Deluge
Applications to avoid:
Anything proprietary like:
µTorrent
Vuze
BitComet
BitLord
BitTorrent
Tixati
>His client doesn't have a built in search feature
>he has to rely upon unstable torrent sites that get taken down every day
>he only has access to one network
lmao @ your lives.
>>58750422
Except that all of those are shit.
>>58744984
Cool kids on windows probably use the one with the bitcoin miner.
>>58750422
uTorrent actually works.
>>58750370
If you use qBittorrent then you're completely fucktarded and should sell your computer. qBittorrent is the Theon Greyjoy of P2P.
>>58744984
qbittorrent of course. and qbittorrent-nox.
