a few things to note right now

Ram Speed and Latency are a fuckton more important than the amount. Buy fast ram, ive heard of 3000mhz kinda getting toasty but 2400-2600mhz is the comfy spot. Do your research on the ram.

Nvidia has had the backroom deals support of gaming ever since ID Software made Quake. There may be plenty of options on the market but you will need to buy

if you want it to truly work

you want to get 2 GPUs at a low price rather than 2 of a higher price, and dont bother with ramcount on them
> if its got 1GB of video it should handle most things and even if not two cards with 512 will do the same job for a lower price since they're going to be easy-cheep since they're for poorfags now

SSD Drive:
Get an SSD for the OS, it only needs to be about 4 times the size of the OS.

And get a Raid system full of cheap hard drives (320gb or 500gb) for your actual storage (its up to you if you're getting the raid for reliability or just to have that many drive bays)
