Sapphire having a shitty cooler has nothing to do with AMD directly. Just like EVGA releasing a bunch of cards with exploding capacitors isn't directly related to nvidia. Something with the latest drivers is giving me a hard time with overclocking, though. Was able to hit 1450 core / 2250 mem a while ago with +72mV. Now it I go anywhere above 2000 mem it instantly crashes and resets to default settings.
