I am an idiot when it comes to pc hardware. Please tell me if this is a good pc for the price.

depends on what you're going to be doing with it. if games, it's trash.

>AMD entry level APU
>Nvidia entry level garbage OEM card
Literally a box with trash in it.
i honestly wouldn't take this in for free (unless i was allowed to sell it off)
for the cost of the parts its not that bad of a markup at all
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/P7JvNN
pretty reasonable actually, and i cheaped out on some of the part choices to bring it down more
but, these are shit part choices by all means
thats a garbage APU, a 1gb gt 730 is going to struggle with minecraft, let alone any more intensive game than that
Its just really not a worthwhile buy because you'd be buying low end parts and getting a shitty experience
this kind of hardware is more suited for something like a media center for video and streaming and shit, not for much of anything else
if you're looking for "can play some games in 720p and doesnt cost alot", you should honestly be looking into dell optiplexes with 2nd/3rd gen i5's and 8gb of ram, then drop in a 750ti
similar end price, much better performance
or buy newer current gen stuff
the newest pentiums have better integrated graphics than a gt 730
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BqMJTH
and when the integrated isnt enough, drop in a 1050ti for 130$ more, and an extra 4gb ram stick
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3M7cNN
and that will give you a decent entry level experience
buying that system from amazon will just end in disappointment
>>58738156
it doesn't even come with windows
>>58738631
these are much better builds

It's shit I'll be home in a few minutes and I'll give you something good.
Hell of a low budget though

>asus chip
>Is it good for the price?
It's not bad
>Is it a good PC
Not really, it'll run older and less demanding games but don't expect good performance on current gen games.
Tl;dr if you want to play something like counter strike or league of legends you're good.

can't do much better than as a base
pick any GPU you like, PSU is good for anything except something like a Fury X or 980 Ti
Anything lower than a GTX 750 or 250E won't be worth it over the integrated desu.
