The few applications that do check for 9x probably don't even work in Windows 10 anyway because Microshaft broke a bunch of backwards compatibility, and now running anything that was built pre-XP is a complete pain.

I use Windows 7 Ultimate (no updates) for games, Mac OS X 10.12 (Spotlight, iTunes, and other Jewish shit removed) for work, and Debian 8.7 (with XFCE) for everything else. Botnet 10 can eat a bag of dicks. It's an inferior OS that sucks ass as a dev environment and even Microsoft knows it because they integrated Ubuntu.

This. I tried Windows 10 about a month ago on an old computer I had. 4GB of RAM and a 3GHz C2D, and integrated graphics. I could play Star Wars Battlefront 2 on this machine just fine when I had Windows 7 on it, but 10 for some reason won't even load the game. It just crashes. Windows 10 is dogshit for everything. including gaming.
