Ok /g/, I've been dual booting pic related with an actual OS. Last time I've used it is about 8 months ago. When I boot into it now and try to update it, through windows updates, it just says 'Searching for updates'. I left the fucker on all night, and this morning it still said 'Searching for updates'. I realize I'm asking for shit like this by even using this cuckOS, but does anybody know how the fuck you can update if windows update doesn't do a goddamn thing?

Retard. Why the fuck would you update? Also go to the website and start downloading all the packages if you just have to be "updated"

Windows updates are a horrible nightmare. However you should use windows in a VM so whenever it shits itself you can rollback to a snapshot.
Also, it's best that you give your windows vm no internet

What website? The microsoft faq only talks about XP, vista and win7.

you're probably in a update loop. You have to install manually 3 or 4 essential packages for Windows Update or download Windows Diagnostic Tool or some shit. Just google the problem

Fuck it, can't be bothered. Gonna nuke the partition, thanks anyway.

Welp, servicing stack update and July 2016 update rollup would have been your answer

Windows 10 gets in the same crap, there is a folder where the updates are stored. Delete it and you should be fine
