I've several VPS servers. Personal website running nginx on CentOS. Owncloud running Ubuntu. VPN running Debian. Hosted by CloudAtCost. Paid close to $80 and haven't paid for over 2 years. Uptime has been great. Support takes 2-3 days but what do you expect? It's located in Canada. Definitely recommend if you don't like paying monthly or yearly. It saves a lot on web hosting and domain names can be picked up cheap at Namecheap.com
