/g/, I need your help on selecting a new Distro.
Currently I am using Ubuntu 15.10, but I really wanted to try something new.
So far I was thinking about trying Kubuntu, Elementary OS or Fedora Plasma. What do you guys think? Do you have any other suggestion?

I'd recommend Solus. Currently using it and it's really nice.
I don't want to come off as a shill, but honestly on a HDD my laptop feels as fast as my desktop which has a SSD. Laptop is running Solus, desktop is running windows 10

try ubuntu 16.10
PCLinuxOS
>Why?
Because no systemdick.

OP doesn't care about his init system, go take your autism somewhere else
Fedora is great. I'm using Gnome though.

There is literally nothing wrong with systemD. It's much better than what was used before.

Kubuntu sucks. Any distro+kde except kubuntu.

there seems to exist only two kinds of people. one kind thinks systemd is perfect and there's nothing wrong with it. the other kind thinks that systemd is shit on all levels and that even sysvinit is better.
can't we just admit that systemd is an improvement in some aspects, but it is bloated and has some terrible design flaws.
I heard OpenSUSE is great if you want KDE.

Can't you just install kde on ubuntu anyway? Why is it a different distro?
>>58683996
Kubuntu isn't really a distro. It's literally Ubuntu + KDE preinstalled.
>>58684014
kinda weird to give it a different name then
>>58683981
We can, but it's more fun triggering retards on /g/.

I wouldn't recommend switching unless you feel like you have an actual reason to switch, but if you want to try out some other distros, here are my recommendations.
Manjaro is the distro I use. It combines the ease of use of Ubuntu with a rolling release schedule and access to the AUR, along with a ton of DE options when the community editions are considered. It's pretty much my favorite distro.
Apricity OS, as an Arch Derivative, is rather similar to Manjaro; but Apricity OS comes with better looks out of the box. If you like GNOME or Cinnamon, you can give it a shot.
Peppermint OS is my favorite Debian-based distro. It's basically the best parts of Chrome OS (heavy emphasis on cloud-based computing and web apps) and Linux combined into one into a very good-looking package.
Kubuntu is garbage. Buggy and unstable as fuck. If you want to use KDE, you have plenty of other options, like Manjaro or OpenSUSE. Elementary OS is good if you want a very Mac-like Linux distro.
Also, I'm not sure how the distro itself is, but Deepin OS has a fantastic DE.
Tell us why you want to change. That would help.

Tried it. Liked it. When an update screwed me, now I avoid it. OpenRC doesn't seem to play well with Nvidia drivers (or lightdm or X). Using Void with runit & works great.
