Whats systemd? I looked it up. Theres not much info describing it. Im fairly new to linux still but kali was my first. I am currently looking for a new distro but i dont honestly find anything i like

it's just a meme. Most people who talk about systemd have no fucking idea what it is either. Like OP who says you have 15 seconds to say why systemd isn't the best Linux distro... systemd isn't a fucking distro. It's just another way to control your startup services when you boot up.

Systemd is shit because we spent years in getting developers to fix shit on Linux and suddenly they decided to drop everything and start from the scratch with this new shit. I'm sure most devs like to reinvent the wheel again for free.
