Pajeet Ayyy to cancel FCC proposal to let cable customers use their own set-top boxes instead of renting cable company ones. 1 job-killing regulation down; 999,999 to go.
I love America, you guys are a source of endless amusement.
>Implying anyone pays for cable tv
>yet another incentive for people to ditch cable TV
I fail to see the problem

>job-killing regulation
Lolbertarians need to be rounded up and sent to a deserted island where you can all kill yourselves ala Lord of the Flies.

this. the free market will fix it up.
don't like the service? cancel it. that easy.

Except they're going to be allowed to cap any particular video streaming service they want once the FCC revokes the paid prioritization ban. So you're going to have to get cable from them (or someone paying them) or run out of video bandwidth in the middle of the month.

What a shame. Guess I'll have to go outside.

>yet another incentive for cable companies to bundle cable with every package
:^)

The average retard (aka the bulk of the market)is still not near the point where they can leave cable. Shit like the Amazon Fire TV has gone a long way, but still has yet to have a completely idiot proof way to watch news and sports, which are the two things most people actually use their TVs for.
Of course, that means the main victims are old people, and old people are so used to getting blasted in the ass by corporations that it doesn't even matter.
