How much do IT people give a shit about what you do on the internet while at work? I want to watch some cartoons but streaming sites are kinda dodgy.

I hope you at least have your own office if you're doing this. Or work from home. Shouldn't the VPN/proxy block those sites on grounds of muh malware anyway?

Use an adblocker to avoid most malware that streaming sites have.
If you're a Chad or Stacy, you WILL be stalked by the smelly, autistic, permavirginal sysadmin. Otherwise you have nothing to worry about.

I have my own office. And I've been regularly browsing and posting here since I was hired almost three years ago.

Cartoons means western animation, nobody but the most ignorant people call anime cartoons.

IT guy here. Honestly, unless you're browsing very obviously questionable stuff, we don't give a shit. It's unrealistic to monitor absolutely everything.
I changed my DNS to some open ones outside and don't give a shit about anything. Can't be bothered to VPN everything, but I'm pretty sure IT staff can't be bothered to reverse-DNS all the shit I visit

It manager for a 400 employee company. I don't give a fuck. I have way more important work to do than to monitor access logs.
