I started with Turbo Pascal 7.0. I don't remember the very first programs. I started playing with graphics, my first graphics programs were drawing nice patterns on the screen (checkerboard, spiral, etc...).
I programmed a perspective projection of a rotating, translating cube when I was around 14-15. I didn't know matrices but I knew coordinate geometry and trigonometry well. I don't have any of my old programs.
Then I got some books for programming in pascal and assembly, I wrote some assembly routines to switch real mode VESA modes, and wrote a putpixel routine in true color. Then I wrote some Mandelbrot set visualizations, it was slow as hell.
Quadratic equation calculator in Ti-BASIC at 14. Spent all my math classes making programs on my TI-83+ afterwards.
