>>58638543
the window that appears when you upload a pic to 4chan
>>58638603
>uploading pictures to the botnet
there's a patch for that(tm)
How can you change the file picker to other one? Except changing to default firefox one which is even more shit
>>58638515
>Why are linux Devs so incompetent.
Literally fix the problems you have with it yourself you lazy fuck.
It's shit
Howver you can do this (drag files onto the "Browse…" button)
and also "Recently used" is a list of files, unlike Windows' "Recent Locations", so is OK in the end
>>58638515
That is not a problem for Linux.
>>58638603
>not using drag & drop
not trying to defend the shitty gtk file picker though
I don't get why Firefox doesn't use the superior KDE filepicker when it's installed like Chrome does.
>>58638515
Use OpenSUSE
>>58638603
Nautilus is part of Gnome. Don't use Gnome maybe?
>>58638515
Open Nautilus and drag and drop
>>58638603
That window would be your file manager, fucking retard.
>>58638515
>trying to spread 10 year old memes
Also this >>58639089, openSUSE has a better one.
>>58639140
no it's not
if this piece of shit browser would let me use my pcmanfm to choose files it would be great
instead it uses shitty useless gtk file picker and you cannot change that
>>58638937
Has this been merged upstream at all?
>>58638515
This is a GNOME issue, not Linux issue.
The solution is dragging and dropping from Nemo/Thunar/Nautilus/Dolphin or whatever the fuck you use or patching it. Why hasn't the patch gone mainline? Because the GNOME devs are retarded fucktards who would rather rewrite their UI fifteen times over in obscure languages than doing productive work. Plus the patch has no maintainer which means the patch won't be maintained when a new GTK version is out so in that case a maintainer needs to keep their code in check whenever GTK makes a new version.

>>58639125
You fucking idiot
Works fine here.
>>58639241
Is Japan trying to make you laugh your ass off or fap?
>>58639319
Fap, you kinda need a certain mindset to laugh at this, which in most cases requires a lot of time to acquire.
>>58639241
>Works fine here.
Unlike everything else in KDE
>>58639392
That works fine too.
Try not to use latestBLEEDINGEDGEZOMGARCH versions of KDE and you'll be fine.
>>58639241
yeah QT file chooser is > than gtk 2 & gtk 3 file chooser.
>>58639526
>gtk2 and gtk3 file chooser.
So you use fucking GNOME post 2.0, or something obsolete like xfce, and you think thumbnail view in Firefox is the kernel's problem?
>>58639526
>/b/
>leddit
>steam
>speccy and screenfetch threads
This is some high level cancer.
>>58639526
That's not the Qt file picker, it's the KDE file picker.
>>58639404
Yeah, no. STABLEZOMGOPENSUSHI versions of KDE are still fucking trash and so is OHSHITEVRYTHINGISQT Chakra and Neon.
>>58638515
>Lincucks can't even program a file picker
HAHAHAHA! WINDOWS WINS AGAIN! COMMIE TRASH WILL ALWAYS LOSE!
>>58638515
is this the new desktop thread
