I am never on windows long enough to compile software for it.
>>58632552
since pdfs can include javacript i do first a
strings $FILE | grep http
if there isnt any suspicious i upload the pdf to a website that converts the pdf to png.
if the png files are messes up, i start a windows VM and look to the pdfs there while i monitor the virtual machine for any suspicious.
i fucking hate pdf.

Has anyone said SumatraPDF yet?

Sure, blame the user instead of the ass-hats who though executing code embedded in a document is perfectly acceptable.

from the internet

Could you not just get a PDF reader that only renders text, document signing (the digital signature thing) data, and pictures?
>>58633746
Yess, that's the whole point. Adobe BTFO.

This. Used to use FoxIt before it became cancer.
Sumatra handles everything I've thrown at it and uses minimal resources. I'd be interested in anything that is in it's category, just to try, but don't really see a need at this point.
I use Sumatra on a WinXP install and it's been pretty flawless.
