I have one year left before I finish my comp sci degree. My grades are shit and I have no personal projects
Is there any way I can get an internship for this summer? And if so, how do I do it? Please /g/ give me any advice you have. I don't want to end up on the streets after I graduate
It'll probably be a long shot for your terrible grades, but you may want to check out https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com
No personal projects implies no interest in the field. Why are you even going down this route?

That's probably a long shot. A lot of kids apply, and there are limited spots. Also, a lot of organizations expect contributions to open source projects prior to applying.

Isn't the answer obvious?
>My grades are shit
Try to fix it.
>no personal projects
Make one. Or fix bugs.
>internship for this summer
Apply for them. Nothing you can do now will drastically change your chances. Just apply and don't be too sad when you got nothing.
I wish you luck.

Of course, OP.
Internship guys are a good idea. I had little interest into programming before my internship. When you realize you can actually make people happy with your programms, it'a a great feeling.
Also work experience is way more important than a super cool github account or top grades. Practice beats theory.
