Cant access phone files from phone.
How do you open hidden files( ".stuff" ) in your phone from the pc?

Use UMS instead of MTP
Can't make any changes on the phone.
>>58615487
Yes you can. That's the whole point of buying an Android device.
use adb to push and pull files, it's faster

I can't access anything in the phone because the screen has "stopped working"/"lost connection"
>>58615558
Then consider the phone lost and restore your files from your backup.

How do i do that?
>>58615662
* Buy new phone
* Copy valuable files from backup to new phone

I'LL TELL YOU HOW YOU FUCKING MORON:
-OPEN TRASH
-THROW PHONE IN
-ACCESS BACKUP (lol like you have one, being the ignorant little shitstain you are)
-COPY FILES FROM BACKUP TO LOCATION OF YOUR CHOICE
hey, I'll stop using caps lock.
what you really need is to buy a new screen and repair your phone <3
since you replied "how do i do that?" to someone telling you to restore from backup... you probably can't do that. you can't do anything.

>you can't do anything.
Pretty accurate description of OP.
>>58615669
I tried that but I can't copy the hidden files
>>58615685
I don't really know how to do that so unless I did it by accident I probably don't have one.
>>58615704
They told me its the only solution but buying a new screen comes up to almost the price I bought the phone for in the first place.

>I don't really know how to do that so unless I did it by accident I probably don't have one.
You learned an important lesson today: always have backups. Now fuck off
>>58615726
if you used a google account you might have accidentally done it. No files, but contacts and calendar and installed/bought apps are in the cloud.
>I don't know how to do that
It is literally as easy as:
- mailing yourself the valuable file
- copying it to another device
- dropping it in your google docs/onedrive/dropbox
- using an actual backup progam
don't say you didn't know, we all know you just didn't bother, or think about it.

well, how much is
>having a working phone again
>having your files again
worth to you?
I'd think that having a working phone is worth the price of a working phone... especially if you have important files on it.

Good to hear you weren't completely fucked. I hope you realize how lucky you are. Next time backup your stuff.
