Did you try clearing the dust from the laptop?

Reapplying thermal paste?

I can think of a couple ways

Nop don't have any on hand..

Kinda.. I put a leaf blower up against all the vents to try to clear out the dust.. It has kinda worked and it now idles at about 60-65 C

The chassis feels noticably cooler too and the fan speed has dropped down a couple notches.

First, dont even use the OS it came preloaded with. Fresh install always.

second, reapply thermal paste.
