Literally the only reason to use Windows is for games.
As Windows is more spyware than actual operating system at this point, it's not suitable for any kind of serious work.
(Some would complain about the lack of Adobe products and such on Linux, but there are FREE alternatives for pretty much everything you would need.)

Either dual boot Linux and Windows, or just run Windows in a VM (with GPU passthrough) on a Linux host.
