What camera can I get for a fair price, and with high quality and such?
>>58600332
What do you want it for and what's the budget?
Are you thinking of taking photography as a hobby or you just want to point-and-shoot and have nice looking pics?
Define a fair price, any camera you can buy nowadays will have more than good enough picture quality to last you for years, it's the lenses that makes a big difference. If you want a larger selection of lenses then look into the Nikon D3000 series or Canon EOS series, if you want a smaller form factor camera but with fewer lenses then look into mirrorless cameras like the Sony A6000.

I agree with this anon. I bought a Nikon D3300 in December and have since taken over 5000 pictures with it. The camera has a good sensor with 9 focus points and comes with 2 lenses if you buy the bundle, 18-55 and 55-200. It's a very good entry level DSLR and will be a great asset to learn more about photography.

used mirrorless dslr
sony alpha3000 for example with standard Sony Selp 18-55 or more travelfriendly 16-50 lens
which i got and yeah. this is where you are confronted to your own camera knowledge. if you don't learn your camera, you won't get the perfect shot
got the body and selp 16-50 lens for 165€ half a year ago used, was a risky deal though

system cameras are quite good and not so expensive (examples: Nikon 1, Sony Alpha, ...)

Youre a shit photographer.
Even my flower shots are better
>pentax k50
>>58601815
what exactly makes you better in saying that I'm a shit photographer?
i never said i'm a pro. i'm pretty inexperienced to be honest
>>58601815
>>58600332
you can shoot nice shit with 350d rebel and canon 50mm nifty fifty, which all together should cost something around a dollar
you can also shoot nicer shit with full-frame 5d, but finding used one which isn't mudered by professionals taking billions of photos with it might be difficult

you miss everything important in photography. lack of proper subject, dumb angle, "bokeh fun", random composition. you're very definition of amateur.
i don't mean it as an insult, at some point you'll surely get good, but for now you don't get photography at all.

also, i'm not pentax flower guy. just random anon passing around, trying to point out what is exactly wrong with your coffee photo thingie.

digital single lens nonreflex
iPhone 7 Plus
YI M1
Not OP but this is relevant to my interests.
I'm looking for a budget camera, around $250, mostly for urban photography. Streets, everyday people, flowers, a house, the clouds- those are my targets. It should be easy to carry around, not too bulky.
What do you say /g/entlemen?
>>58605357
Also, I'd like to make some custom focus, so not point-and-shoot suggestions pls.
>>58600332
I'm thinking of getting used Canon EOS 550D (aka Rebel T2i) or 600D/Rebel T3i to play around with.
>entry level DSLR so it's easy find decent condition used ones
>200 - 400€ for body and lens depending on condition an extras
>full Magic Lantern support
>gPhoto2 image capture
>1080p@25/30 and 720p@50/60 video
>should be easy to flip if not what I needed
Is there anything else I should take into account? Another model I should consider at this price range? Canon EOS 500D only does 1080p@20 so I've deemed it obsolete.

Get a Lumix G7, trust me on it
