Hey, at least it performs well. You can overclock 8-series to 4.4GHz on that thing if you set it to 100%
>>
>>58581499
Only faggots like quiet PCs. My 1 computer sounds like a fucking datacenter. Varg approved.

The noisest part of my PC is the HDD. Once I put it to sleep, it's quieter than a kitten.

Get some noctua fans + EVO 212s and you won't hear a thing.
>>
>We want the Fermi noises crowd
>>
>>58581643
>buying Noctua® fan
>not buying a Noctua® D14 CPU cooler
>>
>>58581700
212 was half the price. And it's plenty quiet and cool. At 100% x 4 cores, my i5 never crosses 50C. it's a fucking perfect cooler for my needs.
>>
>>58581628
pretty much this. the fans provide something of a white noise effect for me.
>>
>>58581700
>not opting for passive cooling
>>
>>58581643
Just buy the noctua cooler
>>
>>58581753
you pay $30 for the two fans idiot
>>
>>58582958
those noctua fans are for the chassis you retard. 212 comes with its own fan and it's quiet.
>>
*bbBRRRAAAAAAAAA-
Oh shit, wrong one
>>
>>58581499
>>58581597
worse than the 290x reference cooler.
>>
>>58581597
It just werks though.
But due to the compact size design the fins gets horrible amount of dust stuck after a year or less compare to after market coolers.
>>
>>58581499
Just replaced that jet engine with a cryorig h7, feels good
>>
>>58581643
How deaf are you guys? You really can't hear a NF-P12?
>>
>>58585061
with LNAs, no. all you hear is a slight EM noise from the power supply. noctuas are fucking quiet man. def not a meme or some kind of a marketing bullshit. go look at decibel measurements by independent reviewers.

when I use my PC, all I hear is keyboard clicking. everything else is dead-silent.
>>
How do double FAN CPU coolers work ? I'm pretty sure there's only one connection for CPU fan on my mobo
>>
>>58585318
One fan blows so hard that it makes the other fan spin and the momentum+inertia keeps it spinning.
>>
>>58585318
Most have a splitter to connect two fans to the header.
>>
>>58584985
>not having a dustproof case

LMAO

Imagine the Thermaltake Core V1 equiped with an intel i7 6700k on a gigabyte z170n g1 gaming mini ITX and a corsair h60 to cool that CPU.

Now OC that chip to 4.7GHz and add 2 NF-F12 to the rad in a push pull config.

Add 2 extra 8cm exhaust fans, because with that clock speed asnd the added asus strix rx 480 OC @ 1.4GHz and a custom fan curve to prevent the GPU from burning and you get a resonating box of hot air
>>
>have Dell workstation at work
>zero software fan controllers work with the CPU
>Only options are have it spin at minimum speed until cpu hits 70c
>or have the fan 100% all the time through the BIOS
I've never heard a fan so loud in my life
>>
>>58582611
>passive cooling
>fans
Pick one m8
>>
>>58585798
why do you care about temperatures at your work ? Unless of course the fan spinning at minimum makes the CPU reach 70 in 30 minutes and at maximum it stays the same for the rest of the day
>>
>>58585924
Because when it seesaws around those temps and has no smooth fan curve, the fan goes from spinning quietly to going fucking mental and then back to quietly every few seconds
>>
>>58585944
Seems a better option than running it 100% all the time
>>
>>58585956
Both are shit, thats my point.
>>
>>58581499
Pretty sure the new one is better.
