Have dead end job servicing Macs. Most RAM needed is 8GB, but using 4GB with an iMac 24" 2008 model.

Would like a new Mac but employer are cheap arse as fuck and using 2GB RAM on an old Mac Mini which is being used as a server for various software tools.

Low RAM capacity issue is causing issues where server needs to be restarted on a monthly basis and department are trying to convince the boss to upgrade the server's RAM to 8 or 16GB.
No success so far on month 2 of trying.
