1080p Chromebook with literally any Linux distro. Cheap, long battery life, and despite what others say you don't need an i7 to program anon.

this. also you don't need that muh the best laptop for coding as CS student. you will be fine with i3 equivalent +8GB ram 500 GB or 1 TB HDD
