I'm starting to wonder if I should just bite the blue pill bullet and embrace Microsoft and its merry gang of corporate goons. I was happier before I knew all that I knew about privacy issues.

Perhaps I should simply get over the idea of losing privacy and download Office 365, go balls deep in Outlook 2016, use all of Cortana's features, use Edge, reenable advertisements, use the Xbox at startup, use Bitlocker, upgrade all of my devices to Windows 10, disable and uninstall classic start, join Fast Ring of Windows Insider Program, Allow All Apps in the Background, use the Facebook App, only use docx, use the Twitter App, play Candy Crush, Login with my Microsoft Outlook ID, Allow Cortana to get to know me, and mount a glossy picture of the current CEO of Microsoft.

How does this sound?

/g/ had me avoiding 10 like the plague until it came pre installed on my new thinkpad. I just disabled all the spyware on install which you guys all made out couldn't be disabled. In saying that I disabled app access to mic and camera, installed wire and boom, it has access to mic and camera.

Do it! I went full normie some time ago and was and still am, amazed by how much better everything is after. Now i don't have to worry about anything and everything is so much better!

Although i kinda hate myself for doing it, it is definitely worth it.

Yeah I spent a stupid amount of time jumping through hoops and using inferior programs and OS just to avoid "spying". Just reinstalled chrome, got rid of my chink phone and got a google pixel, back to Windows 10. It's pretty great honestly.
