How come an abomination like USB3 ever left the lab and was allowed into consumer market? Was there ever a worse designed standard in history?

What is this supposed to be.
Also, because USB was already an abomination, try looking up how to write a USB driver and all you get is TONS and TONS of useless documentation, like the page at OSDev is all

It will trigger you if you put a working USB3 device near WiFi radio and see all your 2.4GHz connections drop like skrillex drops beat

Gotta love how this wasn't an issue at all before apple's dongle shitshow.

Its been an issue ever since it was first released. Router and wireless devices manufacturers had to cope with this issue for years now by redesigning their circuits to account for USB3 and its interference by moving away from radios or by wrapping it in shielding. That's also why cheap routers don't have USB3 ports and stability of their wireless is beyond shit if they do.
I have to say its great that it's biting everybody's ass few years later when manufacturers started pushing thinner==better trend.
