I'm not OP. My nephew was born in 2004 and the first "computer" he had access to was an ipad. I probably used FTP last for non nostalgia purposes to download Quake 3 and UT99 maps / mods. Outside of repos which I don't see, /g/ftp is the only server I've been to in a decade.
