Depends on the resolution you're playing on. If 1080p or lower, 4gig. If you have extra money, get 8 gig. If you're on a budget, get 4. It will not make any difference performance wise or just a few percent at best since I assume you don't have a monitor with a huge resolution if you're on a budget.

Not him, but without using source I can tell you he is half right. It has been mentioned for them to run hot and in some cases even burn the system. But that is mostly users crappy job at building the PC, and not the cards fault.
So go for it, it isn't a totally bad card.
I would go for a gtx 1060 myself, but I think it will still suit your needs.
