Alot of people on /g/ use linux right?
What do you actually use it for? Other than posting in desktop threads I mean.
What software/programs are inherentley better on Linux than on windows?
I feel like most people here don't really use it for anything other than posting in desktop threads and to show people that "look at me, I don't use botnet windows, check out my Arch config"
Not even trolling, just genuinely curious.
>What software/programs are inherentley better on Linux than on windows?

I also don't play PC/Windows games at all.
I use only emulators and real consoles for gaymen.

Any experience running Dolphin or PCSX2 on Linux?
How are they?
>>58499218
Not him, but as much as I hate Win 10, I'd stick with Windows 10 for DX12 on Dolphin, since I like to upscale the resolution and put texture packs on. But, if you have good hardware, then OpenGL on Linux shouldn't make too much of a difference on either emulator on the native resolution.

Pretty much the same shit you might use a mac or windows computer for. I prefer the linux ecosystem and OS, but I wouldn't say they are really any better or worse than their mac/win counterparts.
I have never posted in a desktop thread because I use a normal desktop environment instead of a minimalist WM
Watch 20 seconds of this video to see what 90% of linux desktops actually look like.
