You mean like through the cover flow view, or by pressing the spacebar once and then using the arrows to browse through large previews?

How long did you actually try to use it?

Spacebar is just a larger preview, not like nearly fullscreen.
Coverflow is a gimmik, and not really useable to present images.
And no, I don't want to import (read: duplicate) and organize my pictures in Photos, with it's own blob database. (my stuff is already well categorized in folders)
