>Nowadays, the number of threats goes way beyond getting a malware infection. Just think about receiving a phishing email or ending up on a phishing website. Does using a Linux-based operating system prevent you from giving up your personal or bank information? Not at all.
I kekked louder than I should. Reminds me of Microsoft advertising that Edge is safer than Chrome because it protects more against social engineer attacks.

>One common objection to installing antivirus is that it can affect the machine’s performance. Fortunately, Sophos Antivirus for Linux has a small footprint and minimal impact on system speed.
The whole point of that article was to scare retards into buying their security products.
>says normies wont get Debian's shitty package manager
>never even referenced Pacman or Portage.

Mac
>Built for businessmen and retards,
It's not really specifically built for anyone.
>Has a nice balance between Windows and Linux compatibility
Uh... do you mean you can install WINE?
>Not much you can do to customize it
It's BSD, so that's wrong.
>Multiple ways to install programs
You can use a CLI package manager like Homebrew, a .pkg file, or you can just drag the .app files to the Applications directory.
>Underpowered machines
Hackintosh.
>Barely any Windows apps ported to Mac
You can install WINE.
>You're pretty much going to get made fun of it on /g/ no matter what
Good. I don't care what /g/ thinks of me.
>Viruses yet again
Every OS has this problem.
>No option to dual-boot Linux
I have Debian installed. I just put the image on a flash drive, held down the option key, booted into the flash drive, and installed it. It was really easy.
>LITERALLY NO OTHER PORTS OTHER THAN USB TYPE C
Well, looking at the side of my machine I see Magsafe, ethernet, FireWire, Thunderbolt, two USB A ports, an SD slot, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

A new experience, eh?
Relish it while it lasts.

Why aren't Garageband, Final Cut Pro etc ported to Windows?
>>58496000
Because they're trash, and even Apple doesn't want to use that shit.
