I need advice.

Currently I'm running these 1080 monitors and so far so good, but I want to change. I'm upgrading to a 1070 next week and I feel UNCOMFORTABLE playing in 1080p with such card. I'm also bored of 1080p already.

Is 1440p a good meme to buy? I originally planned on buying a 1440p ultrawide curved, but the monitor I wanted went up in price and there's no signs of going down, so fuck that. I aint paying 850€ for that.

I know for games 1440p should make a huge difference in quality, but what about upscaling and other similar issues? I run Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB is that matters. I just don't wanna have to squint to read shit, you know.

1440P makes a big difference compared to 1080p at similar monitor size.

I have a 25" 1440P and i can read the text just fine at 100% scaling, but keep in mind that Windows 10 automatically applies 125% scaling so you have to set it to 100% to get the "native" experience.

My best advice would be to look at them in a store with your own eyes.

1080P on 24" is pixelated faggotry in my opinion.

if you want easier reading at 100% scaling then maybe get like a 27" 1440P or something but I don't know what the pixel density will be so don't quote me on it

The only experience I have with monitors being higher res than mine which are exactly what you quoted, 24" 1080p, is a 29" 4k monitor. Nearly a 2k monitor designed for photography and stuff. It was so fucking crisp you literally couldn't see any pixel.

But... you had to squint a bit to read.

I'm gonna have to go and investigate irl and see if I like 1440p or not.

This is what I did today. Put together the new bed frame, and put up the new curtains.
Feels good that I am also using a expensive memory foam mattress.

Just waiting for the prints to get here so I can put my TV in that other location and hang them up.

If you're larger than 180cm a good chair is a must (I'm 190cm). Most of the cheap standard chairs gave me back and neck problems after a few hours of sitting and were unergonomic as fuck.
