>tfw fell for the Ubuntu meme
Why the fuck would anyone willingly use this shit again?
The entire UI is fucking awful
It's like they intentionally made terrible design choices
Shit doesn't even fucking work either. Processes never end on their own.
Explain why I'm wrong please

>The entire UI is fucking awfuk
Ubuntu isn't a window manager. If you want another UI, install it.
Oh, and install Gentoo.
>>58493009
>a linux disto is shit
Nothing nee, there is a reason why is it irrelevant despite being free
>hurr durr i don't even look at how OS looks before i download it, burn it to my usb, install to my harddisk
>when i boot it it gave me "try ubuntu" and "install ubuntu" and i installed it instantly because i'm a faggot
this has to be a bait. shitting on free software doesn't reward you.
>>58493009
Ubuntu is just a gateway test to debian
Don't trust anyone that uses ubuntu for more than a couple months and doesn't move on to debian
>>58493009
>The entire UI is fucking awful
use a different window manager, retard
>>58496258
>debian
LOL installing wifi drivers by hand in 2017

Q4t
how do you write a bash script that takes an argument and passes is to a command with more parameters?
>>58496258
bullshit. Ubuntu is easy to install and never gave me any problems in the 8 years that I've used it. Debian is a gateway to becoming a weaboo who got nothing better to do than installing shit that should come with the OS by hand.
>>58495380
being this indoctrinated
Linux is small on the PC market because it doesn't come pre installed on computers. In General, people who buy a pre built computer with OS already installed don't know how to install an OS. Most of them don't even know what an OS is so they just use whatever crap is installed on their computer.
>>58496216
how does Zorin handle it's packages?
>is it like ubuntu i.e. sudo apt-get
>i am new to linux
>>58493009
Then don't use Unity on stock Ubuntu. Problem solved. Get yourself an actual productive derivative like Xubuntu.
>>58496557
it's based on ubuntu so it's the same, with apt-get and .deb packages
since OP is a faggot, i think we can make this friendly linux thread
