Hi /g/,

I have a team of about 10 people who are currently working on a new OS which is inspired by other OSes coded from the ground up.

It's an emoji-based operating system which uses only emojis as its codebase, and most system functions are emojis. All bits are represented as farm animals, etc.

We're here to answer any questions you might have about the OS, but mainly we want to know what features you guys think we should add!

Thanks
>>
can you possibly add
<suicide.h>

?

Thanks.

Emojis are a terrible way of expressing oneself imho. I think an OS revolving around digital smug images with JPEG compression or PNG would be better.

No, we're shooting for emojis.
>>
I'm adopting this tripcode for the thread
>>
So if using emoji to base the code like wing ding font?
>>
>>58490976
Somewhat, but in a more logical basis. For instance network speeds are represented by "movement" emojis. a 25gigabit network is a 25 racecar emoji network, each gigabit being 1000 car emojis, etc.
>>
>>58490988
So its just like an app for lack of a better word like what phones have to change there skins and text letter fonts?
>>
>>58491028
More then that. We would designe processors to specifically use emoji opcodes to streamline development.

DerpOS.
>>
>>58491035
So can you just write a cryto key also with it
>>
The best thing is it's never going to get to the v1.0.
>>
>>58491083
We already had a ver. 1.0 that we wrote in javascript but then decided that it wasn't robust enough for our needs.
>>
So it's like an OS programmed in Brainfuck, except somehow more pretentious and less useful
>>
>>58491099
>OS
>JavaScript
Wait, what did I have to except from the joke thread?
>>
spooder man
>>
>>58491102
It's not pretentious and it's very useful. We're aiming at having it be primarily in server deployment form. Ver. 2.0 is going to support over 45,000 VMs on one installation; it's insanely scalable, our focus on the emoji subset of unicode is to increase user understanding and functionality.

ur bad at cs go

I say figure a key that encrypt emojia with a word and then sell it add variants and auch
>>
>>58490988
How are you going to implement standards based on ASCII, such as HTTP?
>>
>>58491295
HTTP is not needed in our environment.
>>
(⌒-⌒; )
>>
>>58491315
Will there be any networking?
UDP? TCP? IP?
>>
>>58491358
Yes, absolutely, all network protocols are supported.

Security for one. Our basic standard even just for SSL is 60,000 bit. Anything below that isn't allowed to connect to EmojiOS. Our protocols are well beyond what is currently acceptable. We hope to push forward cryptology as a field with our OS.
>>
>>58491864
Computers are only 64 bit and all versions of SSL are compromised retard
>>
>>58491880
Not for emojiOS

>I have a team of about 10 people who are currently working on a new OS
where did you manage to find another 9 retards to work with you?
>>
>>58491903
If you're rolling your own crypto you're stupider than all evidence previously suggested
>>
>>58490916
Please link a repository or homepage, I would like to see what you have so far

I'm paying them from 40k/yr to 120k/yr. My grandpa left me over 110m in inheritance.

>>58491759
For marketing purposes I'm responding to this. Please refrain from impersonating me in the future.
>>
>>58490916
Those are "smileys"
>>
So here's a question how will it be programmed as a Morse system dash dots? Or a complex key of varying degrees make a whole new meaning?
>>
>>58492041
hello yes i wish to
know must the emoji OS system library can be programmed with emoji?
thanking for yuor answer
>>
>>58493291

I don't understand this, sorry.
