Ugh I know. I've owned 3 different Samsung Galaxy series phones and I've always had problems with them (hence getting rid of S6 Edge+. Faulty hardware, terrible battery life, toaster in my pocket, touchwiz, stupid edge gimmick.

I've got the z2 pro, not the z. With 3100mAh I'm getting ~7-8 hours SoT over 2 days. Should be similar for the z2 since its got a bigger battery and slightly smaller screen, but not AMOLED like the pro.

Gapps was missing but google apps are actually in the Chinese App Store so it was super easy to install.

What stuff are you worried about being missing?

I've noticed it in a few pictures I've taken. Not horrid though. Just block out light with your hand. I would still have bought the phone even experiencing what I have experienced on this.

Speaker is actually quite good. It's only mono obviously, and you can hear the sound when watching videos obviously placed to one side of the phone or the other, that's about the only downside. Oh, and it's easy to block. But, as has also been said, the speaker is also quite powerful. I think it's got a great deep sound to it (for a phone) if you can manage not to muffle it.

I also like that nightmode can be a toggleable key just like autorotate or flashlight or wifi or bluetooth. Nice feature.

Really a nice phone, while there certainly are cheaper phones I am not having buyer's remorse. I enjoy having this phone with me, it enhances my daily experience, not burdens it. But it is DEFINITELY a phone by Google. It wants to integrate EVERYTHING with Google. But, just like the devil, it always asks permission.
