Removable battery and the pen. I have an interest in writing, and the way it lends itself to note taking would be great. The screen size was actually a strike against it until I found about how it's designed for easy one-handed use - that, and I've spend enough time with my comparably large Moto G4 to have little issue. (And that thing doesn't have a -one-handed mode.)

Got the notice from VZW a few days ago regarding my unlimited data.
Turns out they're not just targeting individuals with unlimited, but the plans in general.
My plan has multiple users with unlimited data, and we know that VZW is looking for a reason to screw us, so we've been closely monitoring data, and haven't done anywhere near 200GB individually. However, total data usage on the plan has gone over 200GB in recent months.
Turns out, VZW is going off the total of your entire plans data usage when deciding who to frag.

Yes but clockwork mod is utter shit, the thing flatout refuses to install some custom roms and apply most patches, the only reason it's popular it's because it can be installed on a lot of unknown phones easily without a computer, TWRP is the recovery you'll have to use if you're serious about this.

Don't install cyanogenmod on it, try either crDroid or RR Nougat, they're the most complete/don't have a lot of bugs.

I use to come here a lot 2 years ago, but since posting on /fit/ for 2 years I've become INCREDIBLY technology inept and need something more straight forward.

Yeah it's a great phone.
Doesn't overheat at all unless charging+gaming at the same time like any other phone I've owned, screen isn't easiest to see in the sun but if you use manual brightness then it's not unusable, sound quality is much nicer than my redmi 3, but that's to be expected with this price difference. The glass back can slide on desks and stuff but you shouldn't be using a smartphone without a case anyways.

Also the glass back is quite grippy against skin so it's nice to use without a case when I'm home.

Camera is great for a phone this price too. obviously not the best but it takes takes good daylight shots and indoor /low light shots aren't a blurry grainy mess.
