Why aren't there any male voiced AI assistants?
I find the shrill, high pitched automated female voices cringeworthy. Choosing a deep, pleasant baritone should be an option.
This is sexism, plain and simple.

You can change the voices on any of those services.

>This is sexism, plain and simple.
This is true. Having only a choice of females as assistants *is* sexism.

Now that you mention it, a Jarvis type voice would be pretty cool
Traditionally, cockpit callouts were female voices since they stood out over radio traffic.

Siri defaults to a male voice in bongland
Cheap tiny speakers have no bass. An iPhone couldn't sound like a man if it tried.

Women are better liars.
Women's voices are clearer and easier to understand. I had some voice generator on a Commodore 64 and it said that in the instructions. So that's the answer to your question; anything else is a meme.
people tend to respond better to female voices
Would rather have a voice that emulates a young boy tbqh
Because 2001: Space Odyssey freaked out too many people

>I think the answer is submission
Isn't that the fucking point of an "AI" to be subservient?
Oh but it sounds vaguely like a women, better scoop sand into my vagina and bitch
Imagine Iron Man telling Jarvis to make him toast and he tells him to fuck himself and make it himself, that's what they want

male voices are more expensive
but were first, example gps' like tomtom, and garmin
It would cost 22% more to make the male voice since they get paid more per dollar.
