I'm aware people have done it, but I'd never actually post a thumbnail myself, it just seems pointless.

How are things mounted to the board and how is the board mounted to the wall?

It's the one thing I haven't seen an explanation for.

All that setup and he is only running a shitty single monitor, and a horrible oem dell keyboard.

as someone who did something similar multiple times before, let me tell you: don't even bother.

>>58472651
just fucking go to instructables and find a bunch of ways to do this. there are literally thousands of ways. and they have tutorials too.

here you go, you can hang this on a wall.
>>
>>58472784
what's the matter bro? did you make a sweet ass watercooled rig just to find out it doesn't benefit shit?
>>
>>58472757
both are essentially a diy case.
reasons:
- pci extension cables are DOA 9/10 times
- you can't use MDF because you can't properly drill holes into it
- expensive
- will get dusty as hell in 2 days
- hard to change parts
- loud unless fanless
- vibrations from fans and other moving parts will transfer into the wood, makes it even louder
- probably need to void warranty to place PSU/GPU

>>
>>58472856
Most of your problems are based on the fact that you drilled inside the fucking wood to place your components.
>pci extension cables are DOA 9/10 times
that's actually a big concern of mine, thanks for letting me know. where would you suggest ordering from that delivers globally?

those cables ruin it, as does the flexible tubing.

Thermaltake Core P5 is wall-mountable if you want an easier solution.

why did you let it open you retard ? cover it with some piece of glass, it'll look 3 times better and not get dusty

this.

that rad placement is hilarious.

this whole idea is rather impracticle though, trying to plug/unplug shit from any port would be a massive pain in the ass

Save yourself the headaches and get one of these.
>>
>>58474126
it's a fucking box to put your computer it.
why does it have to be pretty?
>>
I would never do that. In addition to all the dust the computer would accumulate and loss of protection granted by a case, tacking a computer to a wall, especially in that fashion, lacks good taste and looks trashy.
>>
>>58472639
>shit brained autists
Yet op saved a fucking thumbnail and it's okay?
>>
>>58479558
Does the thumbnail get the point across? Then what the fuck's the issue? It's a goddamned PC mounted on a wall, you don't need the aychest of dees to see what's going on.
>>
this sort of shit is terrible, like those people that wall mount consoles and route the wires to look cool.

plus this makes the pc huge when it doesnt need to be
>>
>>58473316
i have this monitor, i wish i didnt
>>
>>58476106
>all those ugly, unkempt wires

>>
>>58479556
all of you dust fags don't realize that there's no airflow over the components so dust buildup is very low (caparable to rest of room) other than the radiator which one would need to clean periodically no matter what.

More interested in wall-mounting monitors and/or radiators maybe. A couple months ago i was looking into passive radiators to try and build a silent pc

I could see something like >>58479494 working for me though, less showy than the OP build but it could look ok while removing more shit from my desk
>>
>>58472639
I like the stupid music over it so you can't hear how loud that dumb shit is right in front of your face
>>
>>58473851
Unless your computer has 2 1TB SSDs, 2 1080s, and an i7, there are better ways to spend your money than the led tube meme.
>>
>>58472657
>>58473885

>>
>>58472526

Why would I even bother such a thing when it doesn't even look that good? It's not worth the effort IMO.
