Why do companies keep giving this guy products to "review"?

He doesn't really understand how the products he receives work and just wings it. You'd think companies would give it to more knowledgeable reviewers who can actually give a positive review of the product.
>>
doesn't matter to the company if the reviewer is clueless so long as he slobberknobs 9.6/10s the product by the end of the article/vid
>>
because all reviewers are just giving the product exposure. companies know that. you're the only person who doesn't seem to realize it.

this unbox therapy guy is literally just doing gratuitous product shots. in cooking it's called "food porn".

why would a company give a fuck that he's not actually doing competent reviews? he's doing exactly what they want and he's not wasting his time doing shit that they don't care about. the reviews don't matter to them. they just want you to feel excited about a product unboxing the way pavlov made his dogs excited about hearing a bell.

Only autistic ni/g/gers like you can be this fucking dense

A useful review is one where the reviewer is naive. He has to learn, much like you do when you get a new toy. If he can't use it, then Joe Sixpack probably won't be able to.
Remember, most of their market is made up of people who don't give a rat's about whether it's a Dragonfly or an A9. They want to know if it works easily and how much it is.

complete retard
clickbait titles
lots of subscribers

fuck, you can really get your product know just by giving it to this spastic retard
>>
>>58458608
this. how can you not understand this you stupid fucking nigger?
>>
Because of retards like you who give them attention.

/thread
>>
>subscribing to commercials
the faggots in ads dont know anything about what they are selling either
just read the script and push the product
>>
No idea, I'm not watching him.
>>
>>58458514
Because they want someone to blindly shill their product / get it seen on youtube. His channel isn't technically branded as a review channel so he can just he paid to shill.
>>
>>58458514
Because people get to know the company's product

Also the production value of that guy videos is unironically great
>>
Just say you got jealous with how he got fancy stuff for free, OP
>>
>>58462831
He returns them after unboxing, right?

What UT/LTT/dumb reviewers is doing seems easy but I wonder what it took them to get to that level (of wealth) now. It's like saying
>DJs are paid to press a button and bounce at clubs

it's common practice to give established reviewers review units. you sign a contract to send it back after a certain amount of time.

some people think it's underhanded or something, but it's not. the alternative would be these reviewers buying and later returning products because the implied preference of having them give long-term impressions is just infeasible. and if you have a number of reviews, getting into the agreement to receive and return a review unit isn't that secretive or closely guarded. you just need to demonstrate that you're for real, and give them means to exact punishment if you just run off with their product.

take a marketing class you fucking idiot.

700 bucks is literally peanuts to a giant megacorp

Shit out tons of videos and ask more famous people to shill for you. The hard part of youtube isn't making the videos, but being visible.

Because the target market doesn't understand how the products work.
