All memes on the table. It's the adapter letting to much current through.
>>
>>58449172
>he didn't fall for the shark meme
This is what you get. It seems your microSD just wasn't cool enough
>>
SanDisk microSDs are notorious for their terrible fail rate, which is sad since they used to be top of their game last decade

Hmm. This really made me think about how hot my sandisk usb goes hot especially in otg mode.
>>
>>58449172
It's next to impossible to recover data from the majority of SanDisk products. Be aware of that.
>>
>>58449373
All adapters are passive you fucknut
>>
>>58449806
not really, I do it all the time, they have pads you know
>>

>It's next to impossible to recover data from the majority of SanDisk products.

Is it because it's next to impossible to recover data from the all of the flash medium?
>>
>>58449824
>>58449822
It's because SanDisk controller data is usually not available. Maybe Russians found some way around that. If so, link me to the new database.
>>
>>58449172
Dis the PC break as well?
>>
>>58449172

I had the same thing happen to a Sandisk usb stick.

Burnt out my usb port, and lost me a weeks worth of data.
>>
Looks like it will still work just fine, really.
What happened is that during the transfer, the microSD heated up to crazy amounts (no thermal regulation) and caused the problems.
>>
>>58449824
except that's false. you can do a NAND extraction using a microscopic soldering iron.

Sandisk Micro SDs are counterfeited like fuck though. He could've easily gotten a fake, as could have you. Every Sandisk SD i've bought (from trusted retailers) has worked excellently.

more like SandingDisk
im i right?
>>
>>58449932
You can get the data but it will be scrambled. You still need to decrypt it.
>>
>>58449961
i don't think that's what you mean. you have to reorganize it but it's not encrypted. most of the time that's just a matter of block management isn't it?
>>
>>58449968
Nope. The controller scrambles the data. You have to read it in a particular way. It's not just a matter of ordering the data banks in the correct way. You have to know the algorithm used to scramble the data.
>>
>>58450028
why would it scramble the data if its not designed to encrypt?
>>
>>58450038
By scrambling I mean that they use variants of XOR encryption.
>>
>>58450038
Why do you think it's called secure digital?

I bought a SanDisk 128GB USB drive from Amazon and the little fucker burns my finger every time I take it out of the USB port.

>>
That's some mission impossible tier data destruction anon
>>

it's fucking annoying.
>>
Did you let your goat stand on it?
>>
>>58449172
Same happened to me, but just noticed it was very hot. Turned out that the micro broke in half somehow.
