How can I make Firefox load new tabs just like Chrome? What I mean is, to have a new tab load the page but not a Youtube video automatically until I select the tab.
Right now I can make it so that
a) new tabs don't load at all until selected; and/or
b) make Youtube videos require a click to play
But I want neither of these. I DO want new tabs to load, but I DON'T want videos to load until the tab is selected (but then I want it to autoplay).
Can anyone help? Thanks.

how do you make firefox only load when tab is clicked? I only know this behavior from archived tabs

There an addon for it, I forget the name. Search it, you'll find it easily.

this is default firefox functionality, all tabs have suspended media playback until the user has visited them once.
see about:config preference 'media.block-autoplay-until-in-foreground'

Thanks, exactly what I needed! For some reason that option was off for me.
Thanks again!
