What's the catch with these Korean monitors?
This is almost half the price of local 1440p monitors. Any experiences with them? Is image quality shit? Lots of backlight bleed? Poor color accuracy? Slow response time?
I paid $255 for my Asus IPS 1440p panel on sale.
I can see korean no brands going for ~$100 less.
i think the catch is that if something goes wrong you have to ship it to korea and deal with a korean company and wait many weeks for return.
that said im interested in the pixio 1440p 144hz and the company on amazon seems good. but still worried about dealing with a korean company instead of a big company like amazon.
I bought one for like $140 and haven't had an issues. The bezel was loose so the backlight bled bad until I taped it tighter.
I don't think $200 is a good deal.

I bought it from ebay. Some highly rated gook seller was doing a limited sale.

They're the monitors that didn't pass the manufacturer's quality control threshold but are still okay. Most common issue is backlight bleed.
