What is better long time path carrier C++ or Java?
I have two jobs offers both entry level:
1. Java junio dev (spring, web stuff + js)
2. C++ junior in tele company (mostly drivers for LTE and similar stuff).
Salary for second 35% bigger thant for Java.
Any of have experience about salaries after 10 years of documented exp?
I know people here love to hate java, but job is job, after months is routine and C++ is much troublesome, while java is much less stresfull.
While Java job will give me universal experience in OOP in big projects, C++ LTE stuff is very narrow specialization.
I am not sure what will give me better money in long run.

That's not how it works
You don't even get to choose what language you use. You're going to end up having to learn fortran or pascal or some stupid bullshit like that because your company is still using a 40 year old computer and you're the only IT guy who can program anything at all, so you're expected to learn these languages and program in them.

also you should know that java is a meme. It doesn't even compile to machine code
