Haven't ran into any issues with my 1070 despite it being EVGA, though I just got it the other day. Runs everything at 60+ no problem.

Idk man I have a samsung hd tv as my monitor. It does 1080p but the color looks kinda strange. Its an older model flatscreen from around 09 but was expensive at the time. So i just keep the reso at 1680. Maybe I should get me a nice asus monitor for the new year to upgrade. I need a new gpu admittedly but my 670 still rocks most games in high/ nearly maxxed silky smooth.
