Linux is a meme that should have died years ago. We need a new, robust OS that always works.

That's nothing compared to what happened with my install anon
>fresh install
>default options
>took one whole calendar year to install to a prototype SATA9 SSD
>sound constantly blaring mexican rap music
>bad power management causes my CPU to start smoking
>fautly wifi drivers cause my wlan adapter to give off cancer causing radiation
>3D acceleration performance is so poor I get negative frames per second, causing me to be thrown back in time to the age of the dinosaurs
>font rendering so poor my eyes burst while trying to read any text
Year of the Linux desktop am I right?
I'm curious, why can't most linux de contain common drivers like windows? I love Linux, I love that it's open source but I just can't bother to find and compile a driver for every single device I have, heck my wifi chipset doesn't even work on some distributions
>Using Red Hat/CentOS as a desktop OS instead of Fedora
Who is the asshole who keeps meming people to use Red Hat on their PC?

Guess im a genius then since i figured out how to install linux based distros on my laptop, desktop, and android phone (in an ext4 img file that i mount using custom scripts when i need to use it)

>linux is an OS
Now if you say 'hurr it doesn't matter', it does matter you mong. At the very least it does on a technology board
The Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display doesn't have this problem.
>>58350722
It's entirely possible, but most distros go hard with the whole "open-source or bust" thing and don't include anything proprietary by default which makes everyone's life harder.
