Moving away soon so everything is messy.
Need a new desk before I can get a decent monitor stand because the desk itself has nowhere to clamp anything. Only way I was able to get the mic arm to clamp was to stick it in the cable management hole in the corner.

Once I have new place and desk, stands and a lamp or two for lighting are priority.

Cannot wait to get a Thinkpad so I can fit in even more here! That and I tried an X201 recently and I adore the keyboard.

No tactility whatsoever.

I've come to find most hosts cannot even provide the speed back. What the speed has done well for is allowing mutlple users on at the same time. I.E. Multiple netflix HD streams, web browsing, etc. As we stream a lot of HBO Go and that kind of crap.

The upload is pretty nice. At 100 Mbps you can pretty much push any upload within minutes typically instead of hours or more compared to. It has been able to push files remotely with own cloud just fine. Never noticed anything.

Lads, I think I fucked up. I didn't realize how huge these speakers would be and I have very little space in my room, and the manual recommends 1'-2' of space from walls to prevent sound distortion.

I don't really get that. Sure, maybe you can buy a decent-ish computer for the same amount that you can buy a current gen console, but there's absolutely no way you can run 90% of the games in the same level, unless you just stick to old and free to play stuff, but then what's the point. Not even factoring in monitors and other peripherals that can get expensive pretty fast. It's much easier to get a console that you know is going to 'just work' with everything, specially the PS4, and also get a lot of good games that aren't available on PC.

This build will get around 40 - 80 FPS in most games on high/ultra.

It averages 47fps in Arkham Knight (high), 53 in Battlefront (high), 54 in Black Ops 3 (high), 81 in DOOM (ultra), 50 in Mirror's Edge Catalyst (medium), 73 in Overwatch (Ultra)

Do bear in mind that all of those graphics presets are much higher than the presets that are used on consoles.

So don't tell me that it's better to get a console.
Also take into account total cost over ownership:
PC games are on average cheaper than console games, even the same game is usually 10 - 20 $ less than on console.
PC games you keep forever. (most) console games you require a physical disk to play and disks can get damaged.

And most importantly
If a console breaks
You need to get a new console.
If a PC breaks
You rarely need to do more than replace a single faulty part.

Also you can pick up a keyboard and mouse for as little as $10 so don't bring the price of peripherals into this when a Dualshock controller is $40 apiece.

Literally the only benefit is ease of setup and use.

Throw in $60 - 100 for a decent monitor too.
Though there's no reason you can't connect it to a TV so the price of a monitor shouldn't be taken into account when comparing PCs and consoles.
