hi /g/, i need some help
i recently bought pic related. it's great, i cant believe how fluid 144hz gaming feels like. my question regarding the monitor is this :
how do i enable Lightboost on it?
apparently, the monitor supports Lightboost, and i can see it in the monitor's menu, but when i try to select it, nothing happens.
i read around some forums, and some people say that the monitor already has Lightboost unlocked, and some say you need to activate it.
is there a way to test and see if the thing has lightboost on, and if not, how do i activate it?
i do want to specify that in games,or whenever there are moving images on the screen, the monitor seems to sharpen up the image a lot, i can clearly see shit happening. is that what Lightboost does,or is that some hidden monitor setting? hope you guys know more on the subject than me, and can give some tips. thanks
If it's anything like ULMB then it doesnt work work past 120Hz or with adaptive sync enabled.

Google toastyx strobelight. I can't be bothered to google whether or not it will work for you.

turn on the ULMB setting in the menu. ULMB is lightboost.

doesn't matter, 120hz ULMB > 144-160hz without ULMB.

oh sorry op i misread, it said you already have the option
make sure you disable gsync or freesync in your gpu's control panel before you try to turn any kind of ulmb/lightboost on.

This is me again, double posting like a faggot. I downloaded and installed the toastyx stobelight, selected the monitor, checked 120hz strobed, 144hz, 121hz, and clicked install resolutions. I rebooted, and now it's enabled.
