Hey /g i'm back at it again, yesterday i posted about my hdd, a mypassport ultra from WD which i couldn't get to work anymore. Being desperate about losing all my files i tried a lot of stuff to get it back to work. I found out via CHKDSK that it was formatted in NTFS and after a "chkdsk /f /r" i managed to make it visible in the explorer.
At that point my folders were in it, but they were empty. The drive capacity bar (the blue one) was as full as it was before it broke though.
After this i tried briefly to retrieve my files with Testdisk, because Recuva gave me an error but as i started the process my lights went off so i'm back at it again now and i'm actually waint for a new "chkdsk /f /r". Also i tried to use ntfsfix with a gparted live cd but like windows it gets stuck when i plug in the drive.
Help me retrieve my p0rn please?
Op here, this is what i see from cmd
Bump, i have no idea what to do
Have you tried installing gentoo?
Use a bootable ISO from the manufacturer that does a low-level repair/recovery.
