I recently bought a DJI Phantom 3 Standard to take some videos around my university, and on my parents land.
I'm wondering what mode people usually default to when they want to take shots.
Do you usually spend most your time manually flying it, or sending it on autonomous missions?

Sadly form what I've heard the Phantom 4 has some pretty bad reliability issues. Random flyaway's, mysterious glitches, etc. I've never had those issues with my Phantom 3 advanced.

I'd call the police if you did this at my school.
learn to fly it in manual mode, or whatever mode those things call when all it does is auto level without any gps assists.
when you understand how to control it that way and can maneuver it with relation of where the front is facing, then you can go into the gps modes and have the ability to take control when you inevitably lose it because the gps glitches out
