Several plants are retooling existing factories to use a dramatically larger wafer (450mm iirc).
However, in the interim, demand for SSDs has gone up a lot and the supply has actually decreased because of the retooling.
So, at best the prices will stay static for the time being, and at worst we will see prices increase for both SSDs and RAM.
